A couple of weeks ago, I dropped my 2016 BMW off for service. I commented in passing, wanting a new 2019. I spoke with Tanner and today, I rode off on a 2019. I have purchased numerous vehicles and have found Herwaldt an absolute joy to deal with. There is never any pressure and they listen to what is actually wanted, not what they want to sell. The entire process was smooth and easy and while I was doing paperwork, Tanner removed some accessories from my old bike for me. It is nice to know that dealerships such as Herwaldt still exist. Gotta love the 10K mile service interval. My 500 mi service was smooth as buttah! Love this dealership so much I bought a new helmet and communicator. Shop rides are fun and everyone there is friendly and helpful. Now have 3000+ miles and loving this bike more every ride.

Tanner and Matt were very helpful, price was fair, all the details were handled and overall a great experience buying a new motorcycle. On April5, 2017 I was riding home to Los Angeles on a trip to San Francisco. East of Gilroy on the 152, my K1300 had a flat tire. I did a quick search and found a Motorcycle Dealer in Gilroy….I called them to ask for tire repair help. They refused to help and hung up on me when I told them my motorcycle was a BMW.I called Herwaldt BMW and spoke to Steve Collier. Steve suggested Endic Towing and assured me he had a tire waiting for me. I arrived with the Tow Truck and Steve quickly got my new tires installed. He also provided a bottle of water. Two hours later, I was back on the road to Los Angeles.Motorcycling is a community. We share the road and share the experience of cycling adventure. Sometimes things go wrong. When they do, it is fair to expect other Motorcyclist to empathize and help were they can. Steve and the Herwaldt staff did that. The Gilroy Motorsport company did not. I would like to think that Steve would help any other motorcyclist in the same way he helped get me home.
